PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy explains how personal data are processed when you use the ISH2027 website (ish2027.igf.edu.pl) and register for the XLIV International School of Hydraulics.
1. General provisions
KDK Sp. z o.o., ul. Mokotowska 14, 00-561 Warsaw, Poland, VAT (NIP): 5262837167, KRS: 0000230249, REGON: 140034252 (“KDK”, “we”, “us”) is the Data Controller of personal data collected through the ISH2027 website and registration system.
The XLIV International School of Hydraulics (18–21 May 2027, Warka) is organised by the Institute of Geophysics, Polish Academy of Sciences (“IGF PAN”), Księcia Janusza 64, 01-452 Warsaw, Poland, VAT (NIP): 5250008560. Conference secretariat services are provided by KDK. Registration and participant data are shared with IGF PAN as co-organiser for the purposes described below.

2. What data we collect
2.1 Data collected automatically
When you browse the website we may collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and cookie-related analytics data.
2.2 Data you provide
When you register for ISH2027 we collect data necessary to process your registration, including for example:
- name, title, gender, contact details (e-mail, phone), country;
- affiliation and address;
- workshop and additional options selected;
- payment and invoicing details;
- details of accompanying persons, if provided;
- comments and documents uploaded (e.g. student status confirmation).

4. Sharing data with IGF PAN and other recipients
Registration data are transferred to IGF PAN as co-organiser of ISH2027 for conference organisation, scientific programme, abstract handling, and fulfilment of the participation agreement. Data may also be shared with:
- payment service providers (card payments, bank transfers);
- IT and hosting providers supporting the conference system;
- public authorities where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data. Personal data are not transferred outside the European Economic Area unless adequate safeguards apply.
5. Retention
We retain personal data for the duration of the conference organisation and for up to six years thereafter for accounting, tax, and claims purposes, unless a longer period is required by law. Marketing data are kept until consent is withdrawn.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing based on consent before withdrawal). You may lodge a complaint with the Polish Data Protection Authority (UODO, uodo.gov.pl). Requests: rodo@kdkevents.pl.
7. Cookies
The website may use cookies necessary for its operation and for analytics. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.
8. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls and secure hosting.
9. Registration terms
